粉嶺救恩書院為非華語學生提供的教育支援

學校支援摘要

(一) 本校聘請了1名教學助理,以支援非華語學生學習中文。

(二) 在中文科課堂上提供的支援包括協作/支援教學(中一級)及跨學科中文學習(全校)

(三) 課後提供的支援包括中文學習小組(中一級)及朋輩合作學習(中一級)

(四) 本校建構共融校園的措施包括:
- 參與中文學會及舉辦不同認識中國文化及慶祝中國傳統節日活動
- 班本自主學習及協作學習
- 生命教育課

(五) 本校向非華語學生家長推廣家校合作的措施包括:
- 家訪以加深對學生與家長的認識
- 定期與非華語學生的家長討論其子女的學習進度
- 向非華語學生的家長解釋和強調子女學好中文的重要性


Education Support Provided for Non-Chinese Speaking (NCS) Student(s) School Support Summary for the 2020/21 School Year



(1) The school has hired a teaching assistant to support non-Chinese speaking students in learning Chinese.

(2) The support provided in the Chinese language class includes collaborative/supported teaching (Secondary 1) and interdisciplinary Chinese learning (whole school)

(3) Support provided after class includes Chinese learning group (intermediate level) and peer-to-peer cooperative learning (secondary level)

(4) The school's measures to construct an inclusive campus include:
- Participation in the Chinese Academy, organization of activities to learn about Chinese culture and celebration of traditional Chinese festivals
-Class-based independent learning and collaborative learning
-Life Education Class

(5) The school's measures to promote home-school cooperation to parents of non-Chinese speaking students include:
-Home visits to deepen understanding of the student and parents
- Regular discussion of the progress of their children with the parents of non-Chinese speaking students
- Explanation and emphasis of the importance of children learning Chinese well to parents of non-Chinese speaking students
